Do you think more couples have sex before marriage or wait? I am curious do to the fact that when people are dating, the first question people have in their mind is weather or not a couple is able to keep boundaries. Getting married because you want sex is as bad a reason to get married as any and yet we live in a culture that endorses sex .If you abstain, you are looked on as strange. This can be a set up for a lot of manipulation and pressure on Christian daters. I have heard Christians use the bible as a manipulative tool to get what they want out of other believers…any insight?

The bible says it is good to wait until you are betrothed ( engaged) It is better to wait until married. So many wait until betrothed some others wait until married. The percentage of who don’t wait is probably high.

Christianity is just another form of business! So of course they’ll try to manipulate the weaker minds for their own benefits!

I seem to recall a statistic around 80% who engage in pre/extra-marital – but that’s going from memory, so it might be off.

There is no way of knowing the true answer to this question because people tend to lie, whether they are Christian or not, some actually abstain until marriage and some keep their private business "private".
So, in reality, only God knows for sure!!!
