What if a hermaphrodite chooses the wrong sex? (Kind of for Christians)?

Since they have features of both genders, they are "allowed" to pick which gender they feel they most relate to. So they can say, "I FEEL female, I’ll be a female."

My question is, why are they allowed to choose that, but other people are not? If a non-hermaphrodite male says "I feel female" he is considered as sinning by many Christians.

But who is to say that the hermaphrodite has chosen right, just because he/she has chosen on the basis of feeling?

In the case of the non-hermaphrodite male who feels like a female inside, he is said to have chosen wrong.

How would you ever know if the hermaphrodite has chosen wrong?

Might he/she be sinning and not even know it?
prays to – even though the doctor chooses at a young age, it is understood that he may choose wrong. Later, if the person struggles with gender identity, it is understood that the doctor may have chosen wrong, and the person may make a switch.

I have a relative who is disabled and mentally challenged and was unable to defend himself against the false accusations of a teenage girl, and so is now a "sex offender". I sometimes find it troubling that the answer to my being alone or desiring sex is because I somehow lack faith and that I’m not serving God wholeheartedly. That if I desire to have Christ, then I won’t want to have sexual fulfillment in my life. Solomon and David who wrote books in the bible were polygamists. Although they were servants of the Lord, they still had their desires. As a matter of fact, despite their faith, they still struggled with lust. How come oftetimes, that if you have a physical need or desire, your spirituality is questioned? I’ve gotten the advice that this is the carnal mindset, and I want to find a marriage partner for the wrong reason. It’s very troubling to me. Anyone got perspective on this?

Its constantly on T.V., Movies and in Music. I even see it with conservative Christian familes who go to church every Sunday and only end up allow their young teen kids to date and put a blind eye to what they are really doing. God tells us not to have any sexual thoughts about anyone except for our spouse

Mathew 5:28 "But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart"

This would leave are your sexual energy for one person.

God tells us to give our bodies to eachother and to not deprive oursleves.

Sex is a great, positive thing. It feels good and it’s good for your body. Having sex with someone you care about is a wonderful pastime, and if you’re not focused on "marriage first", you don’t have to worry that you’re marrying someone out of lust rather than love.

I knew a LOT of Christians in college who married because they thought they were in love, when they were really just horny. After the sex wore off, so did the marriage. Statistically (or so I’ve been told), divorce rates are higher among Christians.

If both partners are tested and disease free, and if condoms and birth control are used, sex is safe. So why is it bad / immoral? And why would you expect (assuming you do) your spouse to have saved him / herself for you? Many people don’t get married until their mid-twenties, which is well after our sexual maturity. Why would we miss out that experience?

Many christians I know suffer from sexual problems because they have been so repressed about sex? UR thoughts?

Is the scripture a bit fuzzy on this subject or something?

I was told by several Christians that homosexuals are "born that way", that their same sex attractions are NOT a choice and that the only "choice" involved is whether homosexuals engage in same-sex intimacy (which would imply that they can’t just "get rid of their feelings" since the attractions part of their nature).

I was THEN told by several other Christians that same-sex attraction is a sin, that we’re all born sinful, but we can ask God to forgive us and allow us to repent (implying that same-sex attraction IS something you can get rid of, hence a choice).

Why is there so much confusion surrounding this issue? Who’s right and who’s wrong? Is same-sex attraction a choice or not!?

If a person’s spouse cheated on them, which resulted in the marriage ending, and the two people living separately while filing for divorce, would it be considered adultery if the spouse who was cheated on had sex with another person? The marriage is already physically over, but not legally. I realize that it is still wrong to have sex outside of marriage, but I just wondered if God would consider this adultery or fornication.
