What part of having sex is a sin? Isn’t it like a natural thing? And like the only after marriage thing whats up with that? If we have a bond even though were not married isn’t that pretty much the same thing?
I’m Christian btw I just don’t follow a lot of rules :p
You ever seen how thick a bible is? Its huge! I can kill a man with it. Plus they talk weird in it so I can’t really make out a lot of what is said.
I didn’t say that I think YOU think it’s creepy. I’m saying that the way you talk about it creeps me out.
Christians and atheists are invited to answer. Please no elaboration or sermons on morality. We all know it’s a sin.
And Christians, we know you’ve been forgiven, and you may consider yourself born again virgins, even if you once had premarital sex. So please, everybody just answer in this format (I’ll start for example):
Atheist. Yes.
(this means I’m atheist and yes, I’ve had premarital sex)
Please be honest.
To the other atheists: obviously I know it’s not a sin.
I was merely speaking in a way I thought would be inoffensive to the Christian group in the hopes of garnering a more honest and brief response. If I had said "We all know YOU THINK it’s a sin," then they would have started preaching instead of giving us some interesting information, i.e. "Christian, yes."
Maybe it kind of backfired on me, but I’d rather have a few atheists say, "hey, what the hell?" than have several Christians respond with paragraph after paragraph ad nauseum about how premarital sex IS a sin.
See what I mean?
Thanks for the responses, everybody!

"edit: wow I am surprised the Christians were honest. Props to them!"
Yeah, definitely gotta give them some props.
I just wish Yank and Woody B would have filled us in on the juicy info. You’d think with names like those they wouldn’t have a problem sharing their carnal affairs.
…come to think of it, I’m going to take Yank and Woody B’s responses as:
Christian. Yes.
I believe as a Christian that man was created to be the dominant sex and the woman is his helpmeet.
Now I know that atheists don’t believe God created us.
But just look at men and women physically men are the stronger sex, this is a representation of how they are meant to be the head of women.
Agree?
I’ve met a pastor of a gay church.
He is celibate.
He has not had sex but maintains a close friendship with a male friend.
So even though he is undoubtedly gay and admits it… he does not "sin".
How can Christians label "gay" as sinful when it doesn’t necessarily include any specific action?
Only feelings that cannot be controlled?
And isn’t that rather hypocritical of christians considering the divorce rates, child molestation, incest, cheating, alcoholism and theft that goes on in the world of "heteros"?
As in, during the ceremony…
Non-christians: Same question.
There were quite a few questions on sex before and after marriage lately, so I figured I might as well fill in the gap.
if you are going to say that i am hurting my spirit please answer why am i hurting it.
and "because god says so" is such a good answer as saying nothing.
since you claim to have a solid moral code i just want to know the reason behind the moral code, morals cannot be imposed, so everyone must know why somethin is inmoral and this reason is beyond: "because someone told me so".
rossonero you dont know so dont try to disguise it with "why you care?"
homelnad security i already asked and you already give no answer
i care because i am researching on moral codes
vaderswife so adam and eve had sex outside marriage???
suzi dear what is the connection between sex before marriage and unprotected sex??? do you think that people who have sex before marriage do that on dirty alleys???
Do you think more couples have sex before marriage or wait? I am curious do to the fact that when people are dating, the first question people have in their mind is weather or not a couple is able to keep boundaries. Getting married because you want sex is as bad a reason to get married as any and yet we live in a culture that endorses sex .If you abstain, you are looked on as strange. This can be a set up for a lot of manipulation and pressure on Christian daters. I have heard Christians use the bible as a manipulative tool to get what they want out of other believers…any insight?
This is an honest question. I’m having a hard time telling if this is genuine or satire (like the Landover Baptist Church).

Do you think it’s a sin for a Christian to have sex with a Satanist? What if the sex is really good?
