And this good point came to my head and this is what i said to her "yah but WHY shouldnt u have sex before marriage n plus check this out, birth control or condoms werent invented back then so its addiquate for them to say something like "No u shouldnt because your not married and u would HAVE CHILDREN and they wouldnt have two parents which is what God wants (for the child to have 2 children)" lol do u feel meh?" and thats the end quote, i think its something you should think of and not be like "BUT ITS IN THE BIBLE!" or any other catholic crap like that lol (im methodist and my mind is too controversial to be in a catholic church lol). So tell me whatsup people.

The Bible
Basic
Instructions
Before
Leaving
Earth
Follow the rules and no one gets hurt or in trouble. Heck, you don’t need to be a Christion to be respectful of other people.

can you find the word fornication in your bible?

The justification usually given for premarital sex being wrong is that "the bible says so."
That’s not the whole story, though.
The part of the bible that claims that fornication is bad is the same part that instructs you to execute gay people, or says that you have to stone disrespectful children. It’s basically a bunch of rules for ancient israelites living in the desert to follow.
I’m guessing you’re not an ancient israelite living in the desert; as you pointed out, we have neat things these days like "birth control". The reasons that you had to be careful with sex in 3,000 B.C. are not applicable to modern life.
But how about the more recent half of the bible? What did jesus have to say about premarital sex?
Nothing. Jesus had basically nothing to say at all about sex, much less premarital sex.
So i’d say: do what makes sense. God isn’t stupid; he’s not going to strike you with lightning for taking advantage of the safe sex that modern society has to offer.

Because giving your new spouse the gift of virginity is a one-time gift.
Who are you giving your gift to? Some skank who is like the village bicycle in that everyone has taken a ride?

a christian should be careful and if any thing should happen, not take ‘care’ of it in a chop room. I’m catholic and here ‘no sex’ thing alot form devote’ christians, but what they don’t know won’t hurt them and you can do only so many hail Marys…

I,m Christian too and I don’t think you have to be married to have sex. Marriage, as we know it, is something that the government does. It’s a legal contract.
On the other hand, if you believe that your body is a temple and that you have the spirit of God within you then you might want to be careful when you take that body and what you do with it.

I don’t think anyone abides by that anymore. My ex husband was dating a "Sunday scool teacher" and they were having sex. I think if anyone should know better she should have.

A reason why? The Bible says it. If you don’t accept the Bible, why would you accept the idea of Christ, that comes from the Bible? Why would you accept the idea of God, that comes from the Bible. Why would you want forgiveness of sin, that comes from the Bible, Why would you believe in heaven, that comes from the Bible. Man! Where do i stop?

YES, ITS A SIN…..”BUT I THINK ITS HARD TO HOLD BACK”…..IF YOU CAN CONTROL YOURSELF, U WILL HAVE A HECK OF A HONEY MOON…….4-REAL……KEEP THE BULL IN THE BARN-OK

God wants us to save sex for within marriage. God made marriage to last a lifetime. The bond that is formed in marriage is made stronger by sex – especially when it is new to both partners.

The nearest mention of premarital sex in the new testament is in the term called fornication. It is a sin. But in my opinion, sinning is being human; and admitting sinfulness and acknowledging the Savior Jesus Christ is being Christian. In short, sin all you can like eat all you can — just admit it within yourself, do not tell others to avoid judgement, ask God for forgiveness no matter how recidivist you are, and hold on to your Christian sanity to avoid reaching a guilt-proofed mind.

sex is a unique relation u have with someone so it cant be just converted into something that u do to satisfy your needs so it must be respected and done with one person only which is your wife and if u didnt look at sex from that way i think u will just be like animals act without thinking and sure u r not

Sex is more than just a physical act. It is a spiritual union between two souls. You should only be with your wife or husband for these reasons. Love. Trust. Solidarity. Family. Bonding.
Sleeping around is like giving pieces of your soul away. And waiting until you are married is better.

you heart and mind are to be pure….sex is a gift from God…to be shared between two married people.
Yes I have sinned and yes I am not perfect….but the Bible does say…Well Jesus says, Paul Says…GOD Says…Keep a pure heart…a clean moral mind and think not of impure sexual thoughts nd acts.
Any act of sex outside of marriage between two people is considered adultry. Technically you a married to God before you are paired with a mate.

Sex is a gift from God which is to be reserved for marriage. It is a gift that should not be abused. For so many reasons, abusing that gift is dangerous. Some of them have already been discussed. Here are some off the top of my head.
sexually transmitted diseases
unwanted ties with women you are not interested in
problems in your social circle as you compete and compare
children
guilt
problems in your marital relationship such as:
false expectations
comparing your wife to others
missing out on the bond that forms between virgin husband
and wife
having to discuss and list previous ‘encounters’ or lying about
it only to have the truth come out later.
There are a lot of reasons, man, and it is not worth it. It would be so much better the other way, meaning waiting until you are married. Trust me, I found out the hard way.
As for your other argument, bluntly it’s bull and doesn’t fly. Trying to rationalize what you know is wrong. It’s a form of relativism, which means ‘this was wrong for the other guy but not me because…’ It don’t work.

CS Lewis put it this way:
"In this connection (sex) the two beome one flesh, that is, there is an eternal bond between the two, and that bond is either eternelly enjoyed or eternally endured."
Do you want an eternal bond with someone or many someones that you are not going to be married to? Do you really want to do that extra work and carry that extra burden into a marriage?

This is an important subject – especially today. Young people (and older folks, too) are bombarded with the world’s (Satan’s) standards of morality, or immorality. The values and moral standards which were endorsed by most Americans in years past are now ridiculed and/or ignored by many. Teaching on sexual purity before and after marriage is no longer held before young people as a law of God nor even an ideal goal to strive for. So-called sexual freedom is flaunted as the norm among teenagers and adults and often those are ridiculed who expect and encourage young people to remain virgins until marriage. God’s law is plain: "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body; but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (I Corinthians 6:18).
God, our Creator, knows our needs and what is best for us, his creation. He is not a cosmic killjoy. Behind each negative Bible command are two positive principles. One is to protect us, the other is to provide for us. God has "good" planned for us and does not want us to do something that will bring pain to us and to others. To illustrate this, consider an Owner’s Manual that comes with an automobile. I may want to change the oil once a year. That takes less time, and would seem to cost less. But the O.M. says to change the oil every 5,000 miles. Now, if I have good sense, I understand that the manufacturer knows better how to care for it than I do. Following their advice will save me much grief and expense. And we have also come with an Owner’s Manual – the Bible. It may seem good to enjoy the pleasure of sex before marriage, but the "Owner’s Manual" disagrees. So, whose judgment should we consider – ours or God’s? God’s motivation in dealing with us is love. "God is love" (I John 4:16). He is the author of love, and he knows all about it. God is not anti-sex. He created sex and said it was good, but he gave rules with it. Rules in any realm are to protect us and give us freedom to enjoy the activity we are engaging in – whether it be sports or whatever. Can you imagine a ball game without rules, where everyone does
just what they want to do? We have one basic rule from God with
reference to sexual activity. That is, "Wait until marriage."
Look at God’s design and plan for our happiness. When we have faith in a powerful and all-wise God, we obey without always understanding the reason behind the command. But in this area of sexual conduct, God has provided evidence that his way is best in words and principles taught throughout the Bible.
Consider four areas of life that will be greatly affected by our choices of sexual behavior. There are the effects of unchastity, so that we can know how to deal with these consequences. There are physical, spiritual, emotional, and relational effects of an immoral life-style.
